h cyri, good question!

h cyri,

good question! generally, manufacturer support comes from project work that opencsta does.
for now, no panasonic projects.

I didn't know panasonic pbxs supported csta, thanks for your enquiry

thanks
chris

CSTADLL project has the

CSTADLL project has the support of Panasonic PBX. You can take out information on the specifics of Panasonic PBX. http://www.obj-sys.com/product-cstadll.php

That is a very resourceful

That is a very resourceful thinking, however we do not have access to a panasonic pbx in these parts nor an environment to run the linked to software.

If you have a Panasonic, all we would need is network traces of the communications to do as you suggest - that could be a start if you require panasonic support. That would be a tremendous contribution.

1. OpenCSTA only supports phase III of the specification in ASN.1 notation (XML planned)
2. Does panasonic support phase III?

Chris

Panasonic PBX support CSTA

Panasonic PBX support CSTA phase III & MS TAPI2.1
I have network access to the Panasonic KX-TDE100.
And i have log files of TSP driver Panasonic.

Well, you've done your

Well, you've done your research... and this is the public Internet... and it is reverse engineering.

I have a black box program that have used to debug manufacturer sample applications etc... and the output to a CSTA Network log on with Siemens looks like this: http://wiki.opencsta.org/index.php/Development_Notes_-_Network_CSTA_Log_On

If the start of log on looks similar, then it will be easy enough to port an implementation for log on.

In the case of an Ericsson, they have an application which manages the connection to the PBX and the log on is automatically taken care of (IIRC).

So it depends on how to initially connect to the phone system.

It then becomes a case of reading the EULA or license agreement you have agreed to as to what you want to do next. As far as OpenCSTA goes, I have always used the manufacturers channels, documentation and sample applications to implement the standard.

I think that's all I can really provide at this stage. Where are you in the world? And can you code?

Kindly,
Chris

I'm from Russia. I can't code

I'm from Russia. I can't code -- I'm not a programmer, I'm the sysadmin. All I can give - TSP driver logs.
Also, I can give description of Panasonic TAPI.
